This property was converted from an old 1930’s bungalow to a fantastic 4 bed house with open plan ground floor, 4 bedrooms on the first floor(3 en-suite) and a games room on the 2nd floor.  We were contracted to construct the shell of this conversion including the drainage, roof & Cadding, leaving the property plastered out ready for the customer to second fix. The A Frame roof kept us on our toes, the rafters were so long that they had to be imported from Germany for us and we had to scaffold inside to fit the ridge beam.

 
Stanley Green Road

The roof on this post war property in Stanley Green Road had spread, due to a lack of triangulation, to the extent that is was compromising the integrity of the building. A very straight forward procedure, a tented scaffold was used to reduce the chance of water ingress, strip tiles, felt and battens, remove old rafters etc, install steel beams and new structural floor joists and new floor, replace the cut roof, install Velux roof lights and felt, batten and tile.  6 weeks - Job done.

 
Stabler Way

We converted this loft space while the customers were away on an extended break.  They left us with the keys of a 2-storey house and came back to a 3-storey house that completely blended with the original part of the property, even down to the carpets, doors & handles and the bathroom furniture in the en-suite. Our part of the project took about 8 weeks. They absolutely love it and has become a cross between an art room and a great open naturally well-lit reading area.

 
Antonys Avenue

Our aim when building extensions and alterations is to make sure the newly constructed part of the building blends in with the old. 

Here we build a 2-storey extension.  The existing ground floor was converted from a garage into a habitable space (play room / utility) and a 2nd storey was erected to provide another bedroom.

Our part of the project took less than 10 weeks to complete and we were very proud to have been commended on our professionalism, being clean, tidy and making the whole process stress free.

We did of course have the work completed for Christmas!
